Cerium Oxide is used in Polishing of Ophthalmic Lenses, Plate Glass, Bevel Glass, Television Tube Face Plates, levelling Mirrors prior to Silvering and for imparting ultra violet absorption, photo sensitivity, radiation protection, yellow colour and for decolourising . It also finds application in ceramics and electronics industry.
